Deposits are non-refundable, and once a collection kit has shipped, an appointment has been scheduled, or samples have been submitted for testing, some fees may no longer be eligible for refund.

How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:

Submit your refund or cancellation request within the eligible cancellation window.
Our team will review your order status, including shipment, appointment scheduling, and laboratory processing.

Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed within 5-7 business days from the date of approval.
Once processed, please allow an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your original payment method, depending on your bank or card issuer. You will receive email confirmation once your refund has been initiated.

You may cancel your DNA testing order and receive a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the collection kit has not been shipped. Once your kit has shipped or if you've scheduled an appointment with a mobile collector, cancellations are subject to our standard refund policy (see below).

Shipping and kit fees are non-refundable once your collection kit has been dispatched or if mobile collection services have been scheduled. If you cancel within 24 hours of purchase and before shipment, all fees including shipping will be fully refunded.

The following are non-refundable:
Deposits – All deposits paid to reserve testing appointments, mobile collection services or At-Home NIPP kits are non-refundable
Laboratory processing fees – Once your sample has been received by the laboratory, testing fees are non-refundable
Mobile collection service fees – If a mobile collector has been dispatched to your location, the service fee is non-refundable even if the sample was not collected
Expedited or rush processing fees
Completed tests – Once results have been generated and delivered, no refunds are available
No-show appointments – If you miss a scheduled appointment without 24-hour advance notice, all associated fees are non-refundable

Provide required information – Include your full name, order number, date of purchase, and cancellation reason
Await confirmation – Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days and send you a confirmation email with next steps
Return unused kits (if applicable) – If your kit has already shipped, you may be required to return it unused in original packaging to receive a refund. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
For fastest processing, please include "Refund Request" in your email subject line along with your order number.

Due to the scientific nature of DNA testing, we cannot offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with results. All tests are performed using industry-standard laboratory procedures with strict quality controls. If you believe there was an error in processing, please contact us within 30 days of receiving results to request a retest review.

If your DNA sample is rejected due to insufficient quantity or quality and the rejection was not due to customer error (improper collection, delayed return, etc.), we will provide one free recollection kit at no additional charge. If the second sample is also rejected, you may request a full refund of laboratory fees only; deposits and collection fees remain non-refundable.

Legal DNA tests processed for court or legal purposes follow stricter guidelines. Once chain-of-custody collection has begun, these tests are non-refundable under any circumstances.
